Yeah, I know the last post on this blog was in August of 2008, which was nearly a year ago. I got bored today so decided to update this blog for all you loyal subscribers out there, all eight of you (you know who you are).
This wasn’t the only blog that I left dormant. My other (much more popular) blog, Theme Lab, was also void of any updates for several months. I recently revived it and picked up where I left off. I think I’m pretty lucky to have amassed such a loyal group of subscribers.
So anyway, here’s what I’ve done today to the blog here at Leland.info:
- Upgraded to WordPress 2.7.1
- Upgraded a number of plugins (pretty easy nowadays)
- Changed the theme from Monochromatic to this
- Added a nice widgetized footer
That’s about it. I may update this blog in the future, I may not. I don’t really know as I don’t keep track of it much.
For those of you who have been patiently waiting for me to update my about page, the time has come. No more, “My name is Leland. I’ll write more stuff about me here later.”
It only took me a year and a half to actually make one, but better late than never! It has information on me, my websites, my profiles across the web, etc. Check it out!
Just switched the theme here at Leland.info for a much simpler and minimalistic look. Thanks to Mitch Bryson for the template.
Also, a few days ago was Theme Lab’s birthday. Can’t believe it’s already been a year since I’ve started that site. It’s grown into a very active site.
I haven’t updated my blog in over 4 months, so I thought I’d do a quick update for my loyal readers who have been without my really exciting and interesting blog posts for so long. Recently I have built Brainy World, a site with lots of brain teasers and stuff like that. I have also developed DreamDB.com which is a dream journal site. As you can see, it’s getting really popular with 2 whole registered users with confirmed e-mail addresses (including me). Thanks for reading, but don’t get your hopes up for more updates any time soon, because I’ll be too busy counting all the money I accrue from my successful and revenue-generating websites.
Sorry I haven’t been updating this regularly but I’ve been busy developing a site about making money with domain names. That’s right, I’m sharing my domaining secrets with the public on my new website DNDough.com. I wrote everything on the site myself and it took only a few hours, a lot less time than I expected. I guess when I’m writing about something I’m knowledgable about it goes quicker. Feel free to check out the site and contact me if you have any questions about domain names.
